Project Overview:
The Fini UX redesign aimed to enhance user experience and usability across the platform. This involved reevaluating the user journey, interface design, and overall accessibility to streamline navigation and improve engagement.
My Contributions:
My contributions included:
Conducting user research to understand customer preferences.
Developing wireframes and prototypes to visualize and iterate on the app’s features.
Designing the app’s UI and ensuring brand consistency.
Collaborating with developers to implement a responsive, functional final product.
FreshFind needed a mobile-friendly interface to address a critical pain point: improving the shopping experience for users on mobile and web platforms. Customers reported challenges in locating products on the mobile version and completing purchases, leading to decreased engagement and reduced sales.
Problem Discovery
Solution: Accessible Resources
Starting with the Basics: Who, What, and Why for a Mobile-Friendly Interface
To address these issues, we designed a mobile-friendly interface that was accessible, easy to navigate, and visually engaging. Our solution prioritized simplifying product discovery, streamlining the checkout process, and offering resources like quick access to customer support and detailed product information.
Who: The primary users were online shoppers aged 25–45, looking for a fast and intuitive shopping experience.
What: A responsive e-commerce website with essential features like product search, detailed filtering, streamlined checkout, and accessible customer support.
Why: To increase engagement, retention, and conversions by delivering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience across all platforms.

Features for Mobile Interaction
Product Search & Filters: Streamlined navigation with search filters for categories, price, and ratings to enhance product discovery.
Personalized Recommendations: Customized product suggestions based on user history and preferences.
Accessible Customer Support: Quick access to FAQs, live chat, and contact options for seamless assistance.
Fast Checkout Process: An optimized checkout flow that reduces clicks and minimizes completion time.
A user-centered flow was developed to make product discovery and checkout quick and efficient. We mapped out paths that were intuitive, with a focus on reducing unnecessary steps and ensuring users could navigate back and forth easily.
Initial wireframes allowed us to layout primary features, visual hierarchy, and basic functionality. This stage helped us gather feedback from stakeholders and users early in the process, leading to refined designs before prototyping.
In the visual exploration phase, I experimented with various color schemes, typography, and iconography to align with FreshFind’s brand identity. The final design was clean and inviting, with an emphasis on accessibility.
The final UI brought together all design elements, delivering an attractive, functional, and responsive interface. The design was optimized for different screen sizes, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.
Through this project, I learned the importance of iterative feedback and collaboration with development teams to optimize for technical constraints. I also realized the value of including users in early-stage testing to catch usability issues early.
In future projects, I would place greater emphasis on A/B testing various design elements, such as button placements and font sizes, to enhance engagement further. This approach could provide deeper insights for guiding future iterations.
